Ahoy, I am saddened to hear of the death of Sir Clive Marles Sinclair (30 July 1940 – 16 September 2021). He probably did more to inspire my generation to embrace home computing than any other person. My first computer was a Sinclair ZX-81 kit that I got for Christmas 1981. I grabbed hold of this computer and never looked back. This one little box started me on a lifelong hobby which continues today. I'm sure that many of us here have similar stories to share.
Even our wonderful Tauon PC-1 has its roots in Sinclair's computers. What a wonderful gift to be able to run the "speccy" within our computer. I thank uncle Clive for the foresite that led us here. Raise one to him. daveyb

My first PC was USSR clone of Sinclair's ZX Spectrum - "Олимпик С". Then I understood that this is what I want to do for life.
R.I.P. Sir Clive Sinclair
