Booting issue

Hi,  My machine's first start boots up with the snowman then the spinning square. The computer then freezes up on the square or the screen goes black. I have followed the procedure to update the firmware with version 1.10 from this website and it loads with the Card Ok, but on first and subsequent starts it does the same thing, snowman, spinning square, then system freeze.


Any ideas?
