Ahoy, After finding 2 Linux distros for the OrangePi PC that boot and run on the Tauon PC I remebered finding a project a while back that used Armbian Linux and Emulationstation to run a Retropie system on the OPi PC. link Go to downloads and pick the Orange Pi PC version. I got the latest version from 2019. So tonight I burned it on a card with Balena Etcher. I then used Gparted to grow the root partition to the whole card size. Next I tried to boot it on my Tauon PC-1. It booted right up. You goota see it: Armbian then simulated BIOS then MSDOS then Win 3.1 to Emulationstation complete with sound. It saw my SNES Wireless controller which I configured. I then played a few of the games it came with such as a port of Doom and a Sega Genesis game. All works well. If you, like me, enjoy playing retro video games grab a copy and go to town. I'm going to copy it to a 128Gb SD card and add my 79Gb of game ROMs to it. Now on my Tauon PC-1 I can boot Tauon OS, Armbian 10, Lubuntu 16.04, EngineBASIC NG H3 and RetroOrangePi. This surely is a versatile funtime computer system. My hats off! mc10guru aka daveyb PS: There is a whole Armbian Ubuntu 18.04 Kernel 5.2.10 running behind the Emulationstation. Go to the Retropi icon in ES then find the Desktop. It will take you to this: Attachments:
